Leigh Ann Fincher, license broker at the new Destin office of Engel & Völkers

Residential brokerage firm Engel & Völkers expanded to the Florida Panhandle by opening an office in Destin.

The city “appeals to homebuyers seeking both primary and secondary residences,” Anthony Hitt, president and CEO Engel & Völkers, North America, said in a prepared statement.

License partner Leigh Ann Fincher and managing broker Brian Beasley will lead the new Engel & Völkers office in Destin.

Fincher also is the principal broker of the Engel & Völkers office in Eden, Utah. Beasley has 14 years of experience in the brokerage industry with such firms as John Carroll Luxury Properties, Century 21 and Coldwell Banker.
 Engel & Völkers began as a boutique brokerage in Hamburg, Germany, in 1977 and now has more than 9,000 employees and 700 offices in 30 countries.

The firm’s South Florida locations include Coral Gables, Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Sunny Isles Beach and Wellington.
