Developer starts leasing luxury rentals for seniors
A California-based developer has started leasing luxury apartments at senior housing development near Lake Worth.
Big Rock Partners opened a welcome center for Atria at Villages of Windsor, a 320-unit development on a 22.5-acre site at the intersection of Lyons Road and Hypoluxo Road.
The Beverly Hills, California-based company expects the development’s 186 independent-living units to be ready for occupancy in summer and its 80 assisted-living units and 54 memory-care units to open in fall.
Monthly rents are in the $4,000-to-$11,000 range for independent-living units, the $4,200-to-$5,750 range for assisted-living units and the $5,000-to-$6,000 range for memory-care units.
The rents at the senior housing development cover the cost of meals, housekeeping, transportation and other services. Big Rock Partners has collected deposits on more than two dozen apartments so far.
The $105 million development will feature chauffeured car service, a movie theater and a full-time concierge.
In a prepared statement, Richard Ackerman, the senior managing principal of Big Rock Partners, said Atria at Villages of Windsor is designed to make residents “feel like valued guests at a five-star resort.” [Sun-Sentinel] – Mike Seemuth
